So My Weekend started off with four new orders and needless to say they’ve been keeping me busy!
So I got to building another batch of 7 bracers and I’m also working on a respirator and finally shipped out the chain sword. The weather however has been keeping me from being able to spray paint so the bracers have been stuck in the pre-painting stage for most of the weekend sadly.
However the good news is that last night between coats of paint on one project I was able to cut and assemble most of the prototype bolt pistol that I’ve been meaning to make! All that is left to do is make the magazine, Grip and add the barrel and iron sights. I’m pretty pleased with the progress so far. Now all I need to do is wait for the lamp I ordered so I can set up my new mini studio area so I can take some good pictures again.
So last week I built a chainsword as a commission for an Etsy costumer. I painted it up and dolled it up with some new accents and new handle wrap.
It took about as long as I suspected to finish it but the last little bit had to wait until Monday since I went to a game convention in Taunton, MA. The Convention was pretty good though and the customer wasn’t in a rush to get the sword so all and all it worked out nice.
So last night I started work on a Bolt Pistol prop which is currently in the press to bind the layers and tonight I will be starting work on one of the 2 other orders I have on my plate at the moment. But that will be contingent on when I leave to go and see Guardians of the Galaxy!
Skye and I agreed that it would be in our best interests to have separate etsys. If you all didn’t already know I have a blog of my own which I’m trying to get up and running again. I kinda of lost track of it during the school year. Did you all know I was a college student? Hmm.. Anyway….
From what we discussed Skye is going to take over this blog and start running this since it originally was supposed to be mostly his stuff anyway (oops!). I’m going to continue posting the Flower-A-Day which if you haven’t guessed already I am behind on. I have two flowers to do today and I’ll be caught up. The Flower-A-Day will appear on both blog via reblogging from this one. After that the complete switch over will happen. I will have my personal etsy setup and go over to my blog.
Where is this blog you ask? Do actually want to find me and read more of my ramblings? *gasp*

I won’t have you do all the work. I will follow you with my blog and you can follow back. The blogs name is Creative Magic and my shop I’m setting up on etsy is called CreativeMagic28.
This change over is a result of some advice one of the bloggers following this blog gave me. Since I also have over 100 followers of my other blog I figured that would be a good way to get the word out about my products. I hope you all decide to follow back my blog and keep following Skye’s one too.
Much Happiness and Hope,
This one took a while and was one of the larger and more complex flowers I have come across. But it is beautiful. I love the center!
Pink and Pretty
Hey everyone sorry for the Lack of updates on my part, I’ve been busy with a bunch of different projects and commissions! First up the lasguns and hellguns are all finished and primed and are just awaiting a final paint job. The two lasguns came out great, however the hellguns suffered some burning when I put on the latex coat. The damage is minimal and on the one I wasn’t keeping will be covered by accents and covered up. I’ll get some pictures of them up this weekend when I have the time!
Next Up: the reason why I got pulled away from my lasguns. I got orders for 4 bracers over the course of one week. Not only that but I’ve been trying to keep ahead of the orders and bulk produce components of the bracers to speed up/make it easier for me to complete.
Next up: New work table! I had a sunday afternoon free and finally got off my ass and made a new tall work bench. It’s nice and tall and stores the dumb amount of storage containers I have and I’m slowly adding tool holders to the sides where it makes sense to do so. I’m happy with how it came out and now my room is nice and wide open. The only thing left to do is get a lamp on an arm for it.
